Overview of Cliffside Acres

Cliffside Acres is a gorgeous venue that is in Springfield, OH, which is Northeast of Dayton, Ohio and west of Columbus, Ohio. The first thing you’ll notice upon pulling onto the property is the beautiful white building. I simply love white buildings for weddings – they bring so much brightness to the photos and allow for great lighting. It’s run by a pair of newlyweds who inherited the building from their grandmother.

What I like a lot about cliffside acres as well are the outdoor and indoor options. There are ceremony spots available under big, tall trees and the reception area inside is simply open and bright. Absolutely perfect for a wedding!

So, with that said, this was the most perfect backdrop for a styled event (also known as a styled shoot). There were two wedding setups, which I’ll go on to describe below!

Set-Up Number One: Blush & Romantic

I loved the color choices for this style setup. Blush just seems to be a perfect color choice for any season. The couple was styled beautifully with the bride in a lace dress that was just simply perfect for twirling! The groom wore a white tux jacket, which I think ended up looking really good!

There was plenty of room in the Cliffside Acres venue to setup furniture – the colors just added this really romantic vibe that really complimented everything well. We did a lot of photos inside involving the furniture as well as outside. There were so many areas to choose from!

Setup Number Two: Elegant and Greyscale

Our next couple may look familiar if you’ve kept up with my blog posts! After this styled shoot, this couple, who happened to be engaged, ended up booking me for their wedding! It was so great to work with Jade and Austin (twice!) Check out this blog from their wedding day.

Jade and Austin are both tall and Jade’s dress fit her so well! Plus I love the black and white shoe choice for her. (Brides – go with a fun color for shoes – you won’t regret it!)

The theme for this one was “greyscale” so different shades of grey, white, and black. We did a reception table setup (which looked so good I thought!), a cake, and once again did photos outside and inside. Take a look below to see more from Cliffside Acres!

Just look at how cute these two are! These were the pictures we did inside and then moved to outdoors. I liked the elegant flower arch that was placed here!
