Don’t worry about things you can’t control
Each bridesmaid and groomsman should be someone that is willing to go the extra mile for you. I’ve seen couples who feel pressured to have people in their party and then sometimes emotions and other issues get in the way. But, I’ve also seen parties that show the best spirit, love, and admiration for couples. Get those people as they will make your day run so smoothly!
Find a bridal party that gets you
The lighting can matter more than the scenery! I’m happy to consult with couples on their venues, photo spots, and getting ready locations. Good light is so critical to getting those photos that “pop!” Fortunately, I specialize in various lighting scenarios!
Think about wedding day locations
Finding a wedding photographer is tough! Remember, your wedding day photos will last a lifetime, along with your marriage. Set your budget and think about what style you like – most photographers have an editing style (mine is light and colorful!) Consider their quality of work, their approach to photography, and personality.

So many couples tell me they’re nervous about getting their photos taken. While you might feel awkward, trust me, we can get great photos! That’s also why it’s so important to find a photographer who is great at making couples feel comfortable in front of the camera (aka me!)

Prioritize your vision while at the same time creating a day that is comfortable for your guests. I work with couples to define exactly what that means for you. Don’t stress over the many people who have their own vision for what you should do. We’ll build a timeline that fits what the two of you need.
