An overview of an early fall wedding at Vinoklet Winery near Cincinnati Ohio. Lots of fun, laughter, and of course wine!

About the Wedding Venue

Vinoklet Winery is a winery nestled northwest of Cincinnati. It’s a local favorite known for its wine and festivals. One of the most notable things you’ll notice about Vinoklet winery is the obvious wedding ceremony location visible from the vineyards. It’s right up against a lake complete with a fountain and beautiful willow trees. Definitely a great and beautiful view for a wedding!

The reception area is held indoors with a banquet hall that has many windows with natural light coming in. It can hold a decent number of guests as well (up to 150). It also has a walkway with lots of greenery (and grapes) growing overhead. It’s definitely picturesque and beautiful to see.

About the Wedding Day

The couple was definitely excited about getting married at Vinoklet winery! I mean – who wouldn’t be? (I’m a wine lover myself) So, aside from having great wine options, there are plenty of pretty vineyard views too. First thing was to capture a few venue details. The bride wore her grandmother’s veil!

We started off prepping for the couple’s first look, which was held under that walkway I mentioned up above. It was a nice moment! We then went and captured photos of their families and their bridal party. The bride chose lavender and purple accents as the colors for that day. It definitely made for a nice color up against all the green!

Next up was the ceremony. Which, as mentioned, was held right by the lake. It’s a very scenic area! There is a bit of a hill that the bridal party has to walk down to get to the ceremony, but there’s a series of stairs to get you there. It made for nice, meaningful moments as they guests watched the bride walk toward the alter. They exchanged vows and were pronounced husband and wife! It was definitely a sweet ceremony for this couple.

After the ceremony, we did a few more photos out in the vineyards. The view out here is incredible. Rolling hills and rows of vineyards make for some appealing photo opportunities. The weather was also quite pleasant as well. Even though it was cloudy, it was a mild temperature and a slight breeze, which just also made the day feel very relaxing.

It was then time to head to the reception. The couple had their introductions made and then dinner was served. Of course wine accompanied dinner as well (once again, the appeal of getting married at a winery!) After dinner followed toasts, cutting the cake, and some dancing.

Overall, it was a nice relaxing wedding day at Vinoklet Winery. It’s sometimes nice to have everything in one spot (and good weather to boot!)
