About Peterloon Estate

Right from their website, Peterloon Estate was built to rival the garden houses of Europe. And my, oh my, it does. Peterloon Estate has to be one of my favorite venues in the Cincinnati area. It provides one of the most picturesque backdrops you can find.

It was constructed in 1928 – and the entire estate is just so incredibly elegant. The interior (pictured below) is a mixture of Georgian and Queen Anne styles and has over 36 rooms! Most event functions take place in the primary areas of the house, which is the living, dining, and library rooms.

The back lawn is even more impressive – lush gardens, beautiful terrace, and a stunning backdrop with the house right against the land. I love this part of Peterloon Estates. Some quick information on the venue – they can accommodate up to 115 guests, and you can have both your ceremony and reception there. Once again, it’s simply one of the most beautiful venues in Cincinnati.

About this Styled Event

A styled photo event (or styled shoot as it’s sometimes called) is an editorial opportunity for photographers and other wedding vendors to come together and essentially stage a wedding setup. This gives us all the opportunity to craft something unique and have refreshed photos and content for marketing and design purposes. It’s a lot of fun for us to creatives to get together and well… create!

This event was held in April of 2023. As you can see the grass of the Peterloon Estate was already vibrant and green and the gardens were already starting to come to life. This particular day was a bit overcast and stormy, so we didn’t get full advantage of the glowy light you can find at the Estate during golden hour, but it was still beautiful nonetheless!

The colors for this shoot were green and pink – I loved the mood and design of this photoshoot. This was such a wonderful spring inspiration. The planner did such an amazing job putting it all together (vendor links are below after the photos)!

So, let’s start off with the details! The planner staged some beautiful wedding details. I love capturing shoes, perfume, and florals. So beautiful for a spring garden party wedding!

Next up was photos of the long table set up in the dining hall. Look how amazing this would be for a wedding!

And next we can’t forget the cake!

As we moved outside, there was a bar set up with glasses of champagne! And other yummy drinks of course.

I also really loved the sign that was placed out on the terrace to welcome guests!
