About Their Wedding

Manor House Weddings: I was so excited to be selected as Bambi and Joe’s wedding photographer to capture their special day! The weather in Ohio can be hard to anticipate but we were truly blessed with a beautiful, sunny day and temperatures in the 50s. But, enough about the weather! Let’s talk about these two: sometimes you meet a couple, and you just get the immediate sense of how much they care about one another. Immediate good vibes when I met these two!

Their wedding venue at Manor House provided a lovely backdrop, and the sun gave us a lovely golden glow! In our initial chat, Bambi and Joe told me the most important thing to them was family and they wanted photos filled with their family and friends. They also wanted photos that showed their love, reflected simple elegance, and plenty of romance! Their colors were navy and grey!

So, with no further stalling from me, I present my favorite photos from their wedding at Manor House!

We started off the day with some details and getting ready shots! I loved how Bambi incorporated two of her bridesmaids, along with her mother, into these photos. The two ladies pictured here are Joe’s sisters! We had plenty of giggles as Bambi’s dress had so many buttons, but Teresa was determined to get every single one!

After this beautiful bride was ready, we did some first looks with her bridesmaids, her son, and Joe’s son. We got some really sweet reactions!

After this, we headed to Manor House to officially start the wedding! We immediately began staging Bambi and Joe’s first look, BUT first we played a tiny joke on Joe! His son stood in Bambi’s place and had on a veil. As Joe turned around… well just check out the photos!

After this hilarious moment, we staged the real first look. And oh my gosh – it was so sweet!!

Before the ceremony, we grabbed some great shots of Bambi and Joe, followed by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Weddings at Manor House, once again provided a great backdrop!

We also got a few family shots (notice most of their bridal party was family!)

The greatest part about doing a first look is fitting in all of your portraits ahead of time!

These two then said “I Do” at sunset! Ring security safely escorted the ring down the aisle. 😉

After the ceremony, there were so many hugs!! We also found Bambi and Joe a drink. 🙂

We then kicked off their reception with some hilarious introductions! Beach ball and all!

There was sweet first dances, yummy cake, and lots of dancing. All-in-all a beautiful wedding day for this couple!!
