Lytle Park Hotel provides one of the best backdrops in Cincinnati for a wedding. The hotel is absolutely stunning and has many areas to enjoy for portraits. The venue space is elegant and will definitely provide any couple with an experience to remember for their wedding day.

Lytle Park Hotel Weddings are right in downtown Cincinnati. There is sort of a classic charm to this fully remodeled hotel (originally built in 1909). They offer several options for venue spaces, some inside, and some outside on their rooftop terrace. They also offer a variety of services when building out your wedding package. They also offer impeccable service. They were so kind to me and my clients – which made their day even more memorable!

About the Wedding Day

Danielle and Zach chose to be married with just the two of them. That’s right – their wedding day consisted of them, their officiant, and myself! So, this was definitely a non-traditional Lytle Park Hotel Wedding but nonetheless, something unforgettable. Even if you’re planning a gigantic wedding at Lytle Park Hotel, I still recommend reading on for recommendations on different photo areas in the building (particularly the rooftop and the bar!)

These two were so lovely together. Since it was just the two of them, they spent the morning getting ready together in one of the Lytle Park Hotel rooms. I absolutely love this trend – even for big weddings! I also spent some time photographing their details too. The hotel provided such a great vibe for these detail photos!

For their ceremony, we headed to the temple at Mt. Storm in Cincinnati (we later headed back to the Lytle Park Hotel). It was a nice, private area for these two to exchange their vows. Like I mentioned, it was just them! While I absolutely love big weddings, there was definitely something special at this ceremony and just being there to see their connection as they exchanged vows.

And just like that, they were married!! So happy for them!

We then spent some time walking around the park for their couple’s portraits! Mt. Storm had quite a few options for pictures. We stayed at the temple for a bit and walked around.

I absolutely loved how their portraits came out – definitely a timeless and elegant vibe to go with the whole day.

I also loved how their black and white images turned out! Keep scrolling as we returned to the Lytle Park Hotel! Their up close images of their rings and hands are some of my favorites. They did so well with the posing and prompts instruction I give all my couples!

After we finished their portraits, we headed back to the Lytle Park Hotel to conclude their wedding day. The hotel was so kind as they sent a driver to come get us and take us back! As mentioned, Lytle Park Hotel weddings really puts a focus on their couples and their vendors. We felt so taken care of, especially considering how small the event was.

Once we returned, we started with cutting their cake at one of the booths at the bar. I love the look of their green booths and somewhat burnt orange tables. The bar itself is a really fun spot for photos as well. The couple each got a celebratory drink! The cake was delicious – it was flavored with cinnamon, and some other fall flavors (as this wedding took place in September).

After finishing some yummy cake, the hotel let us go up to the rooftop for photos! We had the whole area to ourselves. This is also where some of their bigger events take place! There’s also a really neat view of the city up there.
