Fort Mitchell Country Club is a beautiful golf course in Northern Kentucky (Fort Mitchell to be exact – makes a lot of sense!) Obviously, their primary business attraction is golf, but they also have a beautiful country club, perfect for events and weddings. When I first set foot at Fort Mitchell Country Club, I was so impressed with how light and bright everything was. The outside grounds are absolutely beautiful and were perfect for a good number of photos.
The staff at Fort Mitchell Country Club were very helpful and kind. The food prepared for dinner was great too! I definitely recommend that any couple who is thinking about planning a wedding in Northern Kentucky should take a look at this space! Their information for wedding inquiries can be found here. Their space can accommodate up to 200 people, so definitely perfect for most weddings. Read on to hear more about this lovely wedding reception that took place in August of 2023.
Madeleine and Mark were previously married in an outdoor ceremony at a private residence in July of 2023. Check out their ceremony here! They then chose to host a wedding reception at Fort Mitchell Country Club a month later. I arrived first and started taking photos of the beautiful space!
Next Madeleine and Mark arrived so I started taking photos of them – check out the beautiful space that the venue offers for portraits. Golden glow was coming through those trees!
Check out some of their up close photos – they did so well!
Next their cocktail hour started. It was both indoors and outdoors. The guests were all so happy and having so much fun. I loved capturing all the special connections between Madeline and Mark and their friends and family. Also, there was a huge bottle of champagne passed around by the venue – which was a really neat addition to the evening!
We also got some gorgeous family photos as well before dinner! Everyone did so well. I loved all the summer colors and dresses people wore!
After cocktail hour, Fort Mitchell Country Club served a full dinner, which we didn’t photograph during. After dinner, the sun was setting, so I asked Madeline and Mark to come back outside with me – it was so worth it because it was a beautiful evening! My favorite photo is the one with them running off into the field! Also, check out the photo below of the entire venue – great perspective to show the whole space.
After we finished sunset photos, we came back to the outdoor patio and their band was playing. We concluded the evening listening to some fun music and taking more photos with family!
