Details of a summer wedding at Estate at Sunset Farm just outside of Dayton, Ohio

Starting the Day at Estate at Sunset Farm

The day started meeting the bride and groom at Estate at Sunset Farm as they both were getting ready! I started taking detail photos – the couple choose light pink and gold as their colors. I thought it looked great up against the summer light coming in through the venue! We then took photos of the girls in their robes and the guys getting ready upstairs.

The Estate at Sunset Farm is a beautiful farm venue that has a large house settled on a gorgeous property. As you pull up to the main house, you’ll immediately notice the open landscape, trees, and gardens. Perfect venue for a wedding, for sure!

After the girls and guys finished getting ready, we staged a first look for the bride and groom. As I’ve spoken about in other blogs, I definitely love first looks. They ease anxiety and allow you to enjoy more time together during the day! This couple’s first look allowed them to also get tons of photos before and after the wedding!

After their first look we started photos of the bridal party and some of the bride and groom. Then it was Ceremony Time!

Ceremony

The ceremony was set up outside (in the back of the house) and provided a lovely garden view. The couple had written their own vows and read them to each other in front of their family and friends.

The Estate at Sunset Farm has multiple options for ceremony location as well – I like when there are options for couples!

After the ceremony, there was many congratulations. We did a more photos of the bridal party and the couple. One thing to note about Estate at Sunset Farm – they have horses! And you’re able to get on the horse too if you want! Super cool. We had lots of fun taking photos of everyone with their beautiful horses.

Reception

After we were able to get lots of photos, the party was ready to begin! They were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. and enjoyed a great dinner with lots of dancing and fun to celebrate. With summer weddings, there’s plenty of light for a long time, so around 8:30 we were able to go outside and enjoy even MORE photos of the bride and groom. The Estate at Sunset Farm have so many options for photos after the sunsets too!
