About Bryton Barn Venue

Bryton Barn Venue is a wedding venue located in Northern, KY (in Dry Ridge, KY to be exact). The main venue is a barn, that has a large area for a reception. In another building is the getting ready area for the bride (some pictures on that below!) and then in a separate location is the guys area. The best part about Bryton Barn Venue are the beautiful rolling hills that lead to the ceremony space. The ceremony space is a large outdoor area with a gorgeous view beyond the alter. I loved working as this couple’s photographer for their wedding at Bryton Barn and would recommend the space to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue for their day!

About the Wedding

Ivana and Jordan chose to get married at Bryton Barn Venue in August of 2023. I loved the colors they chose for their day – perfect summer colors! Bright pink and teal. We started the day off by meeting them at their getting ready locations (as mentioned above, Bryton Barn has two different areas for the girls and guys to be getting ready).

The girls space, while is a little small, is great for photos! I worked with Ivana to have her dress and details left at the venue so I could start their photos while they were still at the salon (the girls did not have their hair and makeup done onsite) and that worked out well to have this beautiful space to myself to capture some fun photos before they even arrived!

The girls and guys finally arrived and we captured their getting ready photos. As mentioned, the space at Bryton Barn was perfect for this!

Next it was time for their first look! We did their first look in front of the barn since there was plenty of shade cover there! Jordan was so sweet – he cried when he saw her (although he joked and blamed it on allergies!)

After sharing some sweet moments for their first look, it was time to do their bridal party photos. We stayed in front of the barn for these as well! One of my favorite bridal party members was their dog Cooper!

It was then time to get ready for the ceremony! We focused on taking some detail photos of the space at Bryton Barn Venue. Like I mentioned, their colors really popped with this wedding venue!

It was time for the ceremony! The ceremony at Bryton Barn was perfect for capturing their vows and heartfelt moments. It was also a great spot for their family photos. I think this also demonstrates that even if you have a first look, the groom will react the way he will. Jordan still cried even though he had already seen her!

We then got the chance to take some photos of the two of them!

After we finished these fun photos, it was time to get introduced to their reception. Once they were seated, the best part was their dog joining them at their table! So cute! They also cut the cake, and we listened to their family welcome speeches – it was so sweet and sentimental.

We got to eat dinner and then I took them back outside for some fun photos! Ivana’s gown was bustled and her veil was off – it was time to have some fun!
